Before the move to satisfied, one should distinguish satisfaction and happiness. Some times these two words will be used interchangeably. But these two are different concepts.

Satisfaction not linked with your joy or cry. Happiness is a specific moment, immediate and short, whereas satisfaction is a general feeling in your life. Satisfaction linked to many domains in your life like education, job, friends, relation, marriage, romance, health, wealth etc and particularly with your attitude. Satisfaction is a stable state but your happiness leads to exciting or cry. One can measure your happiness but your satisfaction cannot be measured.

The foremost fact is the satisfaction is internal to you concerning any circumstances. you are the sole owner of your satisfaction and you can only experience the whole. Your surrounding or any relation can’t experience your internal feelings.

Your income, age, living and other amenities will not keep you in the stable state – satisfied.

This is the incomparable state with others mean first of all you stop comparing yourself with others in any aspect. Every personality is unique. Then follow or review what kind of characteristics makes you satisfied.

  • Be Proactive
  • Self-appreciation
  • Be Simple
  • Care your body
  • Commemoration
  • Positive Thinking
  • Understanding
  • Clarity on life-cycle

Honest: You should have an honest estimation of your abilities and efforts. Do not underestimate or overestimate.

The same principle you can apply in your surrounding, accept the facts and check what you deserve.

Then you can able to accept success or failure or neutral, at the end your internal spirit will not end with frustration or excitement.

Proactive: Once you know your strengths, then use them in the right way. Your rational thoughts are much matter to execute your duties.

Do not except favor beyond your limits. Be proactive in the tasks which you can complete and which is required for your growth.

If you are thinking and spending more time on other matters, mean it just unnecessary tasks with no end.

Do not be reactive to unnecessary matters at the end your brain feel restless. Check what is your duty what not?

Self-Appreciation: You should have a hobby of think about yourself not mean as selfish. You may or may not get a return for what you did, but appreciation more than the return.

You should acknowledge yourself for any kind of achievement in the form of thankfulness. Spend time with your inner soul and talk only concerning you (‘I’).

Simplicity: This has the main contribution to your satisfaction. You are a simple person mean you can adjust any situation with less damage.

It does not mean that you do not have goals in your life. Your lifestyle will be simple, flexible and practical.

You are a simple mean in one or many ways you have clarity on the current world in the right direction! Then you can estimate what is next.

Care Your Body: The known fact is your mental health depends on your body condition. The body is not only for usage till it dies.

It requires care as well. You should thank full to your body and its service. Make a practice of doing exercises or yoga, Pranayama regularly and keep your body fit and strong.

When you are active with physical strength, your thoughts will be healthy.

Commemorate: Your past is the base for the present that not mean that dig into your past, drag your misfortunes to present and live in that.

Consider success, failure, mistakes or just experience in your past as a strength, commemorate your sweet memories that give a pleasant mind and  balanced view.

A person never alone your past always with you learn from your past then build present.

Positive thinking: When you are mentally strong next you can able to accept any results without disappointment, you will lead your duties with hope further.

This kind of attitude indicates that you have positive thinking.

This nature makes you keep negatives aside and you can ready to face more than your abilities. You can dream big and witness success.

You can influence your surrounding with your motivation and guidance. Challenges take you to a more satisfying world or satisfied.

Understanding: Once you understand yourself honestly means you can understand others as well because the same views you can apply to others.

Understanding not just limited to a person, it’s extended to the environment, circumstances and also your religious beliefs.

Understanding not in theory, it should be in practice then your external expectations will be less, you become truly confident and you are in the path of rational.

Clarity on life: This topic is an extension to your understanding or you can treat this as spiritual if you belong to any religion or no religion the fact is you were born, then you die one day.

you got your body and lost your body in simple words it is not permanent. Material life may give you happiness, not satisfaction.

Then what lasts with in you (‘I’) or life (to feel yourself) is satisfaction. Create a constructive mindset for your uninterrupted feel for peace.

Bring most of the mentioned things above into your practice and make it a hobby, no hurry. The result is a mix of all and how you balance rest. Your satisfaction is not instant, it’s in-depth, not apparent,  your qualities, and acceptance in your way.

In the part-1, we have learnt few body loosening exercises and more exercises are covered in this post. Here introducing with body stretch and abdominal related exercises.

If you are new to stretch exercises, starting it may be difficult to do as shown in the below video. Based on your body type, you can reach exact posture after few days of practice. Slowly you can increase reps in your stretch and practice regularly. You can notice the flexibility in the body in few days. If you encounter any muscle pain or cramp or spasms take physician advice to proceed further. You can do more reps as per your comfort.

World identified the importance of Yoga and declared 21st Jun as International Day of Yoga, It is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which is originated from India. it is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition.

Health is Wealth’ is a most famous phrase, We are working means most of us spend eight or more hours to earn money, but one can enjoy our life only when we are healthy if it is the fact, how much time we are spending for our body or health care? As per last year study shows that about 65 per cent of Indian don’t do exercise.

Present world conditions suggests that, everyone should practice Yoga or do exercise daily to make us strong mentally and physically.

In our last video highlighted the few rules before start doing yoga, now we come with few body loosening exercises before starting actual yoga or workouts.  Which help us warm up our body and make free muscular joins and loosens stiff body to gain flexibility to do it.

Anxiety /Stress

   Anxiety or Stress is a feeling of physical or emotional tension that can be result of some event. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or nervous. Stress is your body’s reaction to a challenge or demand, a long term stress turns to anxiety.

Stress can be positive, such as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline. But when stress lasts for a long time, it may harm your health.

 Types of Stress:

  • Acute Stress: This is short-term stress that goes away quickly. You feel it when you see vehicle opposite to you on the road, have a fight with your partner, or ski down a steep slope. It helps you manage dangerous situations. It also occurs when you do something new or exciting. All people have acute stress at one time or another.
  • Chronic Stress: This is stress that lasts for a longer period of time. You may have chronic stress if you have economical problems, an unhappy marriage, or trouble at work. Any type of stress that goes on for weeks or months is chronic stress. You can become so used to chronic stress that you don’t realize it is a problem. If you don’t find ways to manage stress, it may lead to health problems. 

When you have chronic stress, your body stays alert, even though there is no danger. Over time, this puts you at risk for health problems, including:

Anxiety affects you in three ways:

  1. On your body.
  2. On your mood.
  3. On your behavior.

In addition to detailed understanding on above three, anxiety will impact our immune system severely.

People worry about increasing widespread of COVID-19 in surrounding places. Most of the Corona hospitals’ fully occupied with patients and state governments are checking for alternative arrangements to treat Corona patients in hotels, Schools, Stadiums, etc.

One may experience a horrible situation when admitting a patient at hospitals if the decease is other than Corona in an emergency. Hospitals wanted to patients to undergo Corona screening test then only ready to admit if the test is negative.

This kind of procedure may severely affect the patient’s health in case immediate treatment needed like high blood pressure or heart stroke. Irrespective  of economical strata everyone can be infected and impacted with Coronavirus.

In addition to this continuous listening of COVID-19 related news creates more worrisome in the mind. Corona increases anxiety, this leads to a further increase of Corona Patients.

The Brain & Anxiety

All commands will be issued from the brain, once brain dead, means complete body dead, there will be no physical action in the body. Brain communicates to the rest of the body through nerves network to act. If such nerve system has any problem beyond normal state then your body will not function 100%.

The stress response begins above your shoulders. The amygdala (a cluster of cell nuclei inside the temporal lobe that processes emotional data) sends a threat message to the hypothalamus, which in turn tells the sympathetic nervous system to protect you from attack.

The nervous system increases heart rate, constricts some blood vessels and dilates others, slows down the intestines, inhibits digestive secretions, and prompts glands to flood the system with cortisol. In one statement we can say that body immunity goes down to face the external world.

How to reduce anxiety and Improve Body immunity:

A recent study conducted by Harward university in the wake of Corona raise in the US has recommended the yoga to overcome anxiety due to Corona pandemic.

  • Yoga (Asana). Not a yoga person? No need to start now unless you’d like to try it. Sometimes trying new things and discovering new activities you can benefit from and enjoy can be a welcome, healthy distraction. Yoga Studio and Pocket Yoga are good apps to consider”
  • Meditation (Dyana). Regular meditation is very calming. Many apps teach simple forms of meditation, such as Headspace or Calm”
  • “Controlled breathing (Praanayama)One simple technique is called square breathing. Visualize your breath travelling along a square. As you follow the instructions to inhale, hold your breath, or exhale, count slowly to three on each side. Try it now. Inhale up the first side of the square. Slowly count one, two, and three. Hold your breath across the top. One, two, three. Exhale down the other side of the square. One, two, three. Then hold your breath across the bottom. One, two, three. After a few minutes of this you should be feeling calmer and more centered”

Yoga has not required any costly equipment to start only need a desire and some guidance to practice. Present internet world it is easy to learn and practice. In the next post, we cover with few yoga practices. Start practicing yoga and improve your immune system!
